Method
The state's amplitudes in the two-dimensional {|N,0⟩,|0,N⟩} subspace were compared exactly against the definition (1/√2, 1/√2), and the N-fold phase-accumulation factor e^{iNφ} was checked by direct substitution into the interferometric phase-evolution formula for a general N00N state.
Result
Pass · the embedded qubit reproduces the exact (1/√2,1/√2) amplitude split, and applying a phase φ to one mode yields the analytic e^{iNφ} scaling, reproducing the N-fold interference-fringe compression used for Heisenberg-limited metrology.
Caveat
The single-qubit embedding exactly tracks amplitudes and relative phase within the {|N,0⟩,|0,N⟩} manifold, but does not model the full bosonic Fock space, mode loss, or the nonlinear/heralded photonic resources actually needed to generate N00N states with N>2.
